The iphone crybabies that felt cheated when Apple lowered the prices on the iphone have been placated. But the joke is on them because they are only getting $100 store credit. Which means that Apple will get even more of their money when they use it toward their next purchase.

AuctionAds have announced that they are giving $25 to new sign-ups. And they are extending it to anyone who is already signed up but hasn’t sold anything yet. (That would be me) But the downside is that you now have to reach $50 for payout. I couldn’t even make the extra $5 to payout before, now it’s an extra $25. They did raise the percent you earn from affiliates from 2% to 5% though. And they made some new widgets that look clunky, bold and ugly for displaying on your site. Thankfully you can still use the old ones.

Here’s a question for anyone who’s willing to voice their opinion:
Why is it that 6-9 months ago everyone in the money-blogging niche who put an affiliate link in their blog post would put (aff) after it to make sure their readers know it was an affiliate link–but now–a lot of people are trying to come up with more and more clever ways to hide their affiliate links so that even the smartest web-people will be fooled by it?

My opinion? I would rather leave my affiliate links untouched and have that trust with the people who come to my blog then to hide it and let them feel tricked when they click on it.

What do you think?
