The Redskins Are in the Playoffs!

The Washington Redskins won last night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys 27-6. It was an outstanding game and their team spirit never ceases to amaze me. This win has put them into the playoffs. They would have made the playoffs even if they lost because Minnesota and New Orleans both lost. But win they did! They have finished the regular season with 9 and 7. I had tears in my eyes when the game was over and the players went up to coach Joe Gibbs and hugged him.
Pictured on the right is QB Todd Collins. He has filled in ever since the regular QB Jason Campbell got injured during the Bears game last month. The Skins came off of a four consecutive losing streak and continued to win the next four games and placing them in the playoffs. Can Collins take a chunk of responsibility for that? I’d say so! But it’s obviously a team effort and they all work very well together.
The Redskins play at Seattle Seahawks stadium next Saturday 01.05.08 @ 4:30 ET. It will be aired on NBC.
