Q. How many pennies make up one million dollars?
A. One hundred million (100,000,000) pennies.

School children from over 800 schools have collected the one million dollars in pennies that are on display at the Rockefeller Center in New York City through the end of the year. The display is called the Penny Harvest and was designed by architect James Polshek and measures 30 x 165 feet.

The money will be donated to different organizations chosen by the children who collected the pennies. It is unclear, however, whose job it is to roll the pennies for deposit. ;)
