Football at Your Fingertips
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I’m going to show you the best thing I’ve come across all season. It’s all the football information you could ask for all on one page. How? Have you seen the new My Yahoo? I’m going to show you how to get your own football page. I’m assuming you already have a yahoo ID, because everyone does. Sign in and go to MyYahoo.
There’s an option to change to the new MyYahoo:

The tags show you why switching is such a great idea!
Once you’re logged in with your new MyYahoo, you can choose to add another page.

Click Add Module >Packaged Pages >Football
Here’s what you get:

You can change the background and colors if you like. And you can move your boxes around, delete the ones you don’t want, add something new or use a different layout completely.
Left panel: Headlines

Middle panel: Images, Journals, Rumors and Video

Right panel: The Scoreboard
This is great! It updates you with who is playing, the current (live) score, quarter and time left, who has the ball and it tells you about upcoming games and times. This by itself is an indispensable widget, especially if you can’t watch the game.

Obviously, you can add pages of any sport, interest, hobby or anything! There are probably thousands of pages to choose from, but we know that football is the best one. And you can customize your page if you don’t want the packaged page.
